EXPERIENCES

NOT JUST TIME IN NATURE. TIME WITH NATURE.

Slower pace, deeper roots.

Guided forest bathing experiences in the Portland–Vancouver metro area

01 - A WALK UNLIKE ANY OTHER

The art of slowing down

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is an invitation to slow down and experience nature through your senses.

Led by an ANFT-certified forest therapy guide, these gentle walks weave together sensory explorations, moments of stillness, optional sharing, and often a closing tea ceremony.

There's no destination to reach, no distance to conquer. Just time to notice, connect, and belong.

03 - EXPERIENCE IT LOCALLY

Wilderness, closer than you think

You don't have to venture far to reconnect with nature. Guided forest therapy walks unfold in beautiful parks and natural areas throughout the greater Portland region, from quiet woodland trails to open meadows and riverside sanctuaries.

Each experience is thoughtfully guided, accessible, and shaped by the landscape and the season. Some of our favorite destinations:  Reed College Canyon (SE Portland), Powell Butte Nature Park (SE Portland), Mary S. Young Park (West Linn), Cooper Mountain Nature Park (Beaverton), Elk Rock Island (Milwaukie).

02 - THE NATURE EFFECT

Nature is good medecine

Research shows that spending intentional time in nature can ease stress, reduce anxiety, and support emotional well-being.

Beyond these measurable benefits, the practice nurtures something equally valuable: a sense of connection to ourselves, to others, and to the living world around us.

01 - AN ANCIENT PRACTICE

Awaken the energy within

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient practice rooted in the understanding that energy shapes how we feel, think, and move through life.

Often described as dormant energy at the base of the spine, Kundalini represents our potential for greater awareness and transformation.

Through breathwork, movement, meditation, and mantra, we learn to work with this energy consciously, creating space for both vitality and inner stillness.
